Portuguese union STAL says enough is enough!

Trade union STAL in Portugal, a PSI affiliate, has organised demonstrations and a huge rally where thousands of people have asked for the government to resign.

They have expressed their opposition to the government's austerity policies that are causing misery for workers and the people, and taking the country dangerously close to bankruptcy. It has become imperative, says a STAL representative, to stop the spiralling recession and avoid social breakdown.
