Video: Stop water privatisation in Nagpur

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation Employees Union is running a major campaign against the privatisation of water in the City of Nagpur as explained by Brother Jammu Anand, President of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation Employees Union, in a video.

French multinational, Veolia, through its Indian subsidiary has opted for a public-private partnership model in Nagpur. The National Platform against Water Privatisation in close collaboration with PSI has launched a national movement against water privatisation.  From 1st to 10 January, social organisations, civil society and trade unions will be running a ten-day campaign to save water and stop water privatisation.
