PSI General Secretary, Rosa Pavanelli will be attending the XIV Global Labour University Conference, held in Berlin, and participating in the closing panel on 29 March on "Emerging Visions for labour's Rules".
This Forum has been organized to prepare civil society participants to engage at the 57th Session of the Commission for Social Development (11 to 21 February 2018 at the UNHQ in New York).

On 14-15 February, a sub-regional conference will take place in Port of Spain, Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, within the Caribbean context in order to reflect on the current developments in the world of work and discuss how the countries can develop appropriate strategies to face the expected changes in future work. The role of unions in achieving this will be of particular focus in this conference.
The Commission for Social Development will hold its fifty-seventh session from 11 to 21 February 2019 under the priority theme of “Addressing Inequalities and Challenges to Social Inclusion Through Fiscal, Wage and Social Protection Policies”.
On 17 March, previous to the five-day ILGA world conference, a meeting titled "World of Work" will be held on the role of trade unions defending LGBTI rights. Both events will take place in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand.
The ILO will be celebrating its 100th anniversary throughout 2019 with a series of global, regional and national events. 22 January, 2019 will see the official start of the “ILO100” celebrations, with the launch of the report by the Global Commission on the Future of Work in Geneva. PSI General Secretary will be participating.
