Following the devastating earthquake that took place in Ecuador on 16 April, PSI is calling on all affiliates to donate to the PSI Ecuador Relief Fund. PSI Steering Committee endorses far-reaching programme

Public Services International (PSI) Steering Committee met on 17 and 18 November to assess progress since the last Executive Board and to decide on further priorities and activities. The Steering Committee endorsed a budget and associated work plan to aggressively pursue a far-reaching programme the success of which will require support and participation from all unions.

Zurich declared TISA-Free zone

The city of Zurich has voted to declare itself a TISA-free zone, in a move which emphasizes a growing resistance to the secret trade talks. A proposal introduced to the Zurich Communal Council by the Green Party was passed by a firm majority and could help to establish a precedent for other regions across Europe who may hope to do the same.
