International Youth Day
The UN International Youth Day is celebrated every year on 12 August. The main puropse of the day is to promote awareness of the World Programme of Action for Youth, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1995 (resolution 50/81).

As August 12 this year is a Sunday, the porgramme will take place on 8, 9 and 10th August. The theme for Youth Day this year is “Building a Better World: Partnering with Youth'. Read more about the activities here
