This pre-departure booklet contains basic information about several topics to help Indian and Filipino health workers who are bound to work in Denmark.

It seeks to empower health workers to make informed decisions and raise awareness of the issues related to health labour migration and ethical recruitment. This guide does not provide detailed information or advice, but indicates the areas requiring further research and reflection by the individual.

The migration information materials seek to address information needs of migrant health workers at all the stages of migration -- from pre-decision to return and reintegration. This booklet focuses on information needed by workers who have already made a decision to migrate to Denmark for work.

This pre-departure booklet is part of a series of migration information materials developed for Filipino and Indian health workers under the ILO’s Decent Work Across Borders (DWAB) project.
