Ending corruption requires public and political organising to demand that governments represent public interests, instead of rich individuals and powerful companies, and to hold them accountable. Public Services International and our affiliates fight for decent and fair remuneration of our members and against the privatisation of public services, which is an open door to corruption when private companies enter the picture. We advocate for strong laws and regulations to help end corruption, better protection for whistle-blowers, and public audit and control bodies that are fully independent.
