Solidarity appeals
Whether it’s earthquakes, tsunamis, epidemics, fire or acts of terror, public employees are on the front-line when disaster strikes. They risk their lives to save others. We cannot know when or where disasters will occur – but we can take steps to make sure we’re ready. One key step is to ensure that public employees are fully involved in planning and decision-making to minimize the impact of disasters.
