The United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), the united voice and world advocate of local and regional governments, is organizing the World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders and its fifth Congress in Bogotá, Colombia, back-to-back with the Habitat III Conference.

The 2016 Summit will be the meeting point of urban leaders and communities just before the Habitat III Conference in Quito. Under the motto Local voices for a better world, the rich programme of the Summit will address the priorities for the New Urban Agenda that will be adopted in Quito, as well as key matters related to its implementation and financing. The Summit will allow for the aspirations of local and regional governments and our partners to be heard, and will allow us to showcase real life experiences.

PSI will be present at the Summit and PSI General Secretary Rosa Pavanelli will be speaking at the Policy Dialogue on Financing the New Urban Agenda on 14 October 2016.
