Malaysia: Young nurses - future leaders?

When 23 young nurses met for a two day course in Kuala Lumpur this week, the topics were basic trade unionism, basic leadership skills, basic organizing, globalization and trade union rights, outsourcing and contractualization and addressing workplace violence.

The workshop was set up bu the PSI-affiliated Malayan Nurses Union. The young nurses, all female, represent all the nine branches of the union.
