The Our Water, Our Right coalition has released a new report entitled Lagos Water crisis: Alternative roadmap for public water sector promoting a solution to the critical situation of access to water in Lagos.

This publication points the way out of the water crisis in Lagos. It reviews the impact and reasons for the failure of the current water system, providing models from around the world for adaptation to the Lagos context, and makes specific recommendations that can be implemented by the Lagos State Government and Lagos State Water Corporation over the short and long term. This way forward will ensure a well-functioning, democratically governed water system in Lagos.

This report is a joint effort by the Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth Nigeria, Corporate Accountability International, Public Services International (PSI), Public Services International Research Unit (PSIRU) and Transnational Institute (TNI).
