PSI affiliate ADEDY held a 24-hour general strike on 12 March 2014 and is holding a further 48-hour general strike on 19-20 March 2014.
The strikes are in protest against a draft law that is going to be voted by the Greek Parliament and that foresees the massive dismissal of civil servants as well as the abolition of public units.

The union organised rallies on 12 and 19 March at 11.00 am at Klafthmonos square, followed by a march to the Parliament and the Ministry of Public Administration and e-government.

PSI has sent a letter of support and solidarity to ADEDY.
