AFT: Trump's budget is cruel to kids

PSI affiliate in the US, AFT, condemns the US government’s plans to make cuts in the education budget. President Trump and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos want to eliminate more than 20 federal K-12 programs, including after-school and summer programs that serve 1.6 million children.

Financing for Development (FfD) forum (New York)

A PSI delegation, part of the major group of workers and trade unions working in coordination with the Civil Society group for Financing for Development, will be attending the ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development follow-up (FfD). PSI has a range of interests in the financing for development arena, including tax, trade, anti-privatisation, climate change and sustainable development.

ITUC/Global Unions and World Bank/IMF High level meetings
