Conflicts, companies, human rights and water, a research publication from the Public Services International Research Unit, discusses locations created when corporations seek to control access to natural resources, including water. This involves the giant food, energy and mining corporations. All of these companies have set up lobbying arms that seek to influence global policy, including in the UN negotiations at the Earth Summit Rio+20, under the banner of the Green Economy.
