Africa Regional Activities Report 2010-2014

The PSI World Congress held in Durban in 2012 adopted a new Programme of Action aiming at making the organisation more responsive to the needs of affiliates and improving its visibility on the global stage.

The region therefore re-organised its priorities in the light of PSI’s new focus and introduced the following new dimensions to the existing regional priorities:


1. Fighting Privatization
2. Influencing Global Policy
3. Organizing and Growth


This Report covers regional activities undertaken since 2010 up until December 2014, focussing on issues pertaining to the major areas outlined above.
